To achieve optimal results, thoroughly clean the application area, removing dirt, loose paint, rust, oil, and grease. Allow the surface to dry before applying the sealant. Standard caulking tools are recommended for application. In cold conditions, preheat the container to room temperature before usage. The approximate cure times for Lap Sealant are as follows: within 5 minutes, a skin forms; after 4 hours, it becomes waterproof; 48 hours mark 80% cure, and full cure is reached after 30 days.

The manufacturing date can be found at the bottom of the tube; this is not an expiration date, but rather the production date. When stored in a dry, non-extreme temperature environment, the product can maintain its integrity indefinitely, ideally between 55 to 85 degrees Celsius.
